Manage the posting declaration (IMI) for all your drivers
The posting declaration is filed per driver and per country. With a fleet, that means dozens of filings that expire after 6 months. MovingCert centralises them, renews them and alerts you before each expiry.
MovingCert manages the posting declaration (IMI/RTPD) for your whole fleet. It files and renews declarations on the official portal per driver and per country, with bulk import of drivers, expiry alerts and the file ready for the 8-week information requests.
Why a fleet needs to manage IMI centrally
The declaration is per driver and per country of posting, valid for a maximum of 6 months and renewable. With 20 drivers operating in France, Germany and Italy, that means dozens of live declarations expiring on different dates. An expired one counts as not having declared at all, and in France, Belgium or Luxembourg the fine is multiplied per driver.
What MovingCert does with your fleet’s IMI
- Bulk registration of drivers and vehicles from Excel/CSV.
- Filing and renewal on the official RTPD portal, per driver and per country.
- Expiry alerts before each deadline (6 months, not 12).
- Multi-driver dashboard showing the status of every declaration.
- 8-week information requests: a reconstructible file (declaration, CMR, tachograph, payslips) when the authority asks for it via IMI.

Frequently asked questions
Is the posting declaration filed per company or per driver?
Per driver and per country of posting. Two drivers in the same lorry need two declarations; one driver going to two countries needs two declarations. That is why a fleet accumulates dozens of filings.
How long does an IMI declaration last?
A maximum of 6 months, and it is renewable. It is not 12 months (that is a different threshold that rarely applies to drivers). MovingCert alerts you before each expiry.
Can I register all my drivers at once?
Yes, with bulk import from Excel or CSV of drivers, vehicles and trailers.
What happens if an authority requests documentation after the trip?
An information request arrives via IMI with an 8-week deadline. MovingCert retains the sealed file for each posting so you can answer it.
